In early 2021, STONKAM collaborated on a China sweeper truck project for daily cleaning of urban roads, parks, and parking lots. By integrating STONKAM’s 360° panoramic surround view system, the vehicles eliminated blind spots and enabled full-process video recording, greatly improving safety, efficiency, and management.

The primary issues included:
● Missed debris in corner areas due to limited driver visibility.

Solution

After conducting detailed research, the STONKAM team developed a customized 360 degree panoramic camera tailored to the structure and operational characteristics of domestic sweeper vehicles. 

By installing four 360 vehicle cameras around the vehicle, the system provides a seamless bird’s-eye view on the in-car display, enabling real-time monitoring of the sweeping area and surrounding blind spots to reduce potential risks.

The 360 vehicle cameras support night vision, ensuring effective cleaning operations even under dim street lighting at night. 
Furthermore, the recording function enables full-process video capture and retention, effectively addressing the customer’s needs for driver performance evaluation and liability tracing. The system not only significantly improves operational efficiency and cleaning quality but also ensures safer and more reliable processes.

Project Outcomes

After implementation, the project demonstrated remarkable improvements in operational safety and efficiency:
